The Road to Success

"Fariha, will you wake Zain please? He's been sleeping for nearly two hours."

As Fariha opened the door of her brother's room, she saw a boy in his teens, wearing clothes of western style, sitting on the bed, reading a news paper. Her eyes grew wide in surprise and she asked him,

"Zain, what are you wearing?"

Her brother blinked his eyes in astonishment and looked around the room to see the owner of the voice. When he spotted her, he flashed his biggest smile and answered,

"Oh, baji! It's just a T-shirt and pants. Look it's the fashion but you must not be familiar with it as you read..."

"But Zain don't you realize that it's not our national dress and it's against Allah's laws and our Prophet's Sunnah?" Fariha asked, her tone steady and confident.

"Oh baji, why do you bring up this topic every time? You always spoil my mood. You live your life and let me live mine, why do you interfere so much?"
